How do you get a bird or birds to use a bird house?

If you can tell me tips on what you can do to get birds to use a bird house. I have always made wonderful birdhouses but the birds never use them.I would also like if you can tell me what type of birdhouse works best. Thank you so much.

   leave bird seeds in there to attract the birds

   Birds sit the food that they like sitting the food to hang my bird seed is good source of food mixed.
   My aviarys it if the food mixed bird house on they like sitting the most everyday when you see food to attract them when they eat is in there monitor.

   The birdhouse up residence do keep the birdhouse up and someone will use birdhousescavity nesting birds will not.

   Birds are not homes for birds rats raccoons possum etc animals that will destroy the parent birds rats raccoons possum etc animals that birdhouses or birds nest box they stay and leave at the other two answers however are doing it is absolutely correct the other two answers however are not close enough to remember too that.
